Spirograph

Welcome to the OCDictionary. Today’s look into the past pages is....Spirograph!

For those of you too young to remember Spirograph, it was a little toy from the 60's that I played with as a young cub. Basically, you took a blank piece of paper and tacked it to a board. Then you placed a plastic frame on it and tacked that down. You then placed a gear-shaped piece of plastic in the frame and placed a colored pen in one of the holes. You then moved the gear and pen around the circle, where it made geometric shapes that were pretty.

That was it. But for a young kid, it was fun! ;)

The different sized gears made different shapes. Some were ovals, some were circles, and so on.

Does anyone else remember this little game/toy? Did you play with it when you were a little bugger?
